When this blog was started last August here on WordPress, there were no expectations as to how many people would look at it. There were hopes, yes. Hopes that folks would be touched and informed by what they found here and might return. We never imagined that it would ever reach out farther that the United States; that never entered our thinking.
Clearly our (maybe just mine) imagination was limited. People from 89…that’s 89 countries have looked at this little blog since last August. In just the last three months, people from 66 countries have looked at it. We feel humbled and elated at the same time that so many would stop by and see what we are up to here.
Thank you for finding us. Thank you for spending some of your valuable time with us. There is no advertising on this blog (or the website) on purpose. You get enough of that elsewhere. And, we have done very little to promote it – any ideas on how to do that are welcome, by the way. What Katherine, the pharmacist, and I have sought, and seek to do, is to provide reliable and unbiased information and encouragement as you fight your War On Diabetes.
What we have wanted to offer you is hope and knowledge. Diabetes does not have to be a ‘sentence;’ it can lead to a healthier you, if you fight your War.
Thank you to the regular readers. And, welcome to the new readers. Each of you is very special to us.
We are just getting started! Stay tuned for new developments – they are coming.
As always, thank you for reading.
