Not Your Basic Black

Color2

Black is great for little dresses, tuxedos and hearses.  I had to come up with three things and hearses was the first thing that came to mind.  What black may not be as good for is glucose meter cases.

We have to touch these things a couple of times a day.  They are literally in our face as a constant reminder of Diabetes.  Okay, I get it.  But do they have to be black; the color most closely associated with death?  Really?  I get a better reminder that I am a Diabetic every time I jab myself to get a drop of red blood.

I’ve always thought meter cases should be bright and remind us of life.  A little color would not be a bad thing, right?  Emily, one of the readers of this blog, is offering cases in patterns.  Color!  And, she tells me they are offering more patterns and colors all of the time.

Take a look at her cases.  Add a bit of color to your daily Diabetes routine.  I am for anything that will help you in your War On Diabetes.

As always, thank you for reading.
