I know some folks might need to take it a step at a time to change their diet, adjust to exercise and to life as a diabetic. This article just happened to remind me of that…and it has such a great picture!
July’s Baby Step
Love doughnuts and OJ? Or maybe it’s the double shot, super grande frapa-mocha-chino thing that you drink in the morning that leaves you crashing at 11am in the morning. Wherever and however you choose to get your sugar-high, consider simplifying your routine with a baby step! It can seem like a drastic thing at first, but you can always start small.
OJ Lover? Unless you are drinking organic, sugar-free juice, it’s not really the same as a fresh orange. Sure there may be added nutrients to keep up with nature but nothing is as good as the real thing. Besides all the acid with no fiber (or bulk) to slow its absorption can really sour an empty stomach, instead try water if you are still thirsty.
