We decided to spend the labour day long weekend in a wonderful town called Port Elgin. We thought it would be a great idea to take advantage of the scenic hiking trails (Check out the trails here: http://goo.gl/obBWB) to start prepping for the hike next year.
We started our adventure at the Bruce Trail. However, within about five minutes of hiking, we started looking around and noticed a lot of the plants around us resembled poison ivy – we’ll be able to confirm this in the next 24 hours. As we continued down a ravine, we began to get the feeling this trail was a bit rough to be the Bruce Trail. Having too much fun to really care, we crossed the river on a log and implemented a few unconventional hiking practices into our trek.
